Annapurna Sanctuary Trek

The Journey to the Annapurna Sanctuary Trek starts from Pokhara, a scenic spot. The trek combines spectacular mountain scenery with incredible cultural diversity and traverses through rural farms and villages. Moreover, the path leads towards the deep gorge between peaks Hiunchuli and Machapuchare through the Modi River. We can see a bamboo forest, a narrow Modi Khola (river) valley, and then the Sanctuary with large walls of the mountain fortress.

However, Ghorepani Poon Hill ABC Trek is the midst of Amphitheatre of snow peaks Annapurna (26, 545 ft-8, 091 m). Other significant peaks overlooking the Sanctuary include the Annapurna South (23,693 ft -7, 219 m), Gangapurna (24,457 ft.-7, 455 m), and Annapurna III (24,787 ft.-7, 555 m). Finally, the Annapurna region is also referred to as the Annapurna Base Camp Trek and Machapuchare (Fish-tail) Base Camp.

Besides, our return journey descends from Annapurna base camp through the lush terraced Modi Khola river valley. Best time to Trek Ghorepani Poon Hill with ABC Trek

During this trek, you will stay in teahouse lodge. It is small and family guesthouses that provide basic lodging and meals. There teahouses are available in almost every village along the route.
Accommodation features:
Rooms: Simple twin sharing rooms with beds, blanckets and pillows. Some tea houses offer private rooms with attached bathroom.
Toilets: Shared bathrooms with either western-style or Asian-style toilets. Hot Showers are available for an extra charge.
WIFI: Most place available Wi-Fi in lower areas and some place in higher villages but need to pay small amount for use. The connection may be slow or unreliable at higher altitude.
Electricity/Charging: It is available in most places, often for small fees.

Food on the trek is nutritious, freshly prepared, and vegetarian-friendly, as most ingredients are carried up by porters or mules. The menu usually similar across teahouses, based on standard set approved by the local tourism committee.

Dal Bhat: Traditional Nepali meal of rice, Lentil Soup, Vegetables, and pickle- served with free refills.

– Teahouses fill up quickly in peak seasons. So, better to pre-booking or starting early is recommended.
