Dhaulagiri Base Camp Trek
Experience the most untamed and isolated regions of the Himalayas with the fantastic Dhaulagiri Base Camp Trek. The walking trail is located distant from populated areas and villages. Walking for many days amid the peace of the entire mountain environment, the breathtaking views, and the stunning landscapes.
You will be walking in the Far North Western Nepal Himalaya on the Dhaulagiri Base Camp Trek. locations that other Western adventurers and hikers rarely visit. Aside from a small number of tourists and mountaineers, the route is currently gradually gaining popularity because it takes you a week away from the most common trekking routes.
The allure of trekking to Dhaulagiri Base Camp is the daily views of snow-capped peaks, between the stunning scenery and pure setting. It takes you from the balmy subtropical temperature to the chilly alpine hills that surround the lonely and remote Magar people, one of Nepal’s numerous ethnic hill tribes.
The walk leads into a stunning alpine forest with magnificent fir, birch, oak, magnolia, and rhododendron tree lines. At 4,750 meters, Dhaulagiri Base Camp offers daily vistas of towering snow-capped peaks and regretless rocky moraine and ice fields. It is an incredible location tucked up between the towering Dhaulagiri mountain range.
As the walk continues, it crosses a high French Pass at 5,360 meters above sea level to arrive at the stunning Hidden Valley. And then across more picturesque passes to arrive at the Kaligandaki River valley, which encircles the lower Mustang regions at Marpha, a quaint Thakali settlement.

Day 03: Drive to Pokhara 860 m -06 hrs.
Day 04: Drive to Darbang 1,200 m via Beni 900 m -06 hrs.
Day 05: Trek to Riverside 1,700 m – 04 hrs.
Day 06: Trek to Bagar 2,375m – 06 hrs.
Day 07: Trek to Dovan 2,600m – 06 hours.
Day 08: Trek to Chartare / Bhainsi Kharka 3,000m -05 hrs.
Day 09: Trek to Pakhaban (Japanese Camp) 3,750 m – 05 hrs.
Day 10: Trek to Dhaulagiri Base Camp 4,750m – 06 hrs.
Day 11: Trek to Hidden Valley 4,900m via French Pass 5,360m.
Day 12: At Hidden Valley (Contingency or spare days).
