Trekking northwards from the road head at Beshishar and Ngadi entering the gorge of the Marsyangdi River, which cuts through the great Himalaya chain of high peaks between the Annapurnas and Manaslu, creating a valley that transcend by the high pass of Thorang-la to the deepest gorge of Kali-Gandaki river Valley which again cuts through the high mountain range of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna, beginning the adventure from the Hindu dominated farmland of Nepal’s ‘middle hills’ into the high alpine region on the north side of the Annapurnas, which is the domain of Tibetan Buddhism culture making this adventure very picturesque from every aspect of trekking environments for which Nepal is famous.

Chulu East (6,200 m.) is situated high above the Manang valley with breathtaking views across to the Annapurnas II, III and IV, Gangapurna, Glacier Dome, Dhaulagiri, Tilicho Peak and Manaslu. The climb is combined with the classic trek around the Annapurna massif, ascending the Marshyangdi valley and crossing the Thorung La, before descending the Kali Gandaki valley to Pokhara. The climb is technically straightforward and, you should be familiar with the use of your equipment, crampons, harness, ice axe, tying knots and handling climbing ropes. Most of the climbing will be involved walking roped together, including the glacial crossings. You Should be very fit and have good experience of climbing.

On arrival at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport you will be received by our staff and will escort you to the Hotel, where our staff will give you a brief orientation of the Hotel, Kathmandu, Trekking, do’s and don’t and other related information that you might require while in Nepal.
After your first night in Kathmandu, you will be well informed on arrival about the time for your half day guided sightseeing tour in Kathmandu at places of interest.
Early morning travel by Bus to Beshishar and further towards Ngadi on the scenic highway. On arriving Beshishar overnight camp at near the village backyard. Beshishar a large town and it's the district headquarter of Lamjung area. The drive follows on the wide dirt road for an hour or two, the drive continues through the busy bazaar of Beshishar and crossing few streams with short up’s and downs. The track follows the river, after half an hour leads you to the overnight camp at Ngadi.
The trail follows to a steep climb for half an hour, on arriving the lush farm terraces field the walk again gets gradual for a short while, as the going gets better another half hour climb brings you at the top of Bhaundanda. After a short break here, the trek descends passing through the farm terraces. Syange village is reached. From here another hour of pleasant walk brings you to our overnight camp at Jagat.
Climbing steeply again, and passing number of welcome teahouses, we finally reach a viewpoint including the Kang Guru massif. Leaving Taal after a break here, from this spot the walk winds on the up and downhill path coming to a large bridge, after the bridge another hour of good walk brings us to the village of Dharapani. Dharapani located at the confluence of the tributary Dudh Khola that joins Marsyangdri.
After an hour to Bagarchap altitude gains slowly coming closer to the apple country at Dhanaqi and to the alpine region, walk brings you to the village town of Chame an important place of Manang region.
From here continue on the gradual path to the bridge, a short steep climb leads through the pine forest reaching the top ridge of Pisang village and to the more open valley with some pasture, walking down from the forested area great views of Pisang peak on the north, Annapurna II and the Chulu peak can be seen, on reaching Pisang welcomed by the long prayer wheel.
From Pisang, there are two path that reaches to Chulu Base camp and to Manang, depnding upon the condition, from the suburb of Pisang village the road diverts up above the river Marsyangdi, which ever the route is taken both the trail offers outstanding scenery of the surrounding landscapes eventually joining the trail just above Nagawa village, the path from here leading north west on arid slopes and hills till we reach a small village of Jhulu.
Rest day, a must as the altitude gets in and the air gets thinner. There are good places for a short hike around with superb views of the snow capped mountains.
The walk leaves the last village for complete wilderness on the barren landscapes with views of both Chulus and the Annapurnas. The walk meanders to a steep climb for an hour with few gradual portion enroute the valley that runs up toward the col between the East and Far East Peaks of Chulu for the overnight camp and as well Base Camp for the climb.
The ill define path climbs up following the Chegaji Khola on the east bank and finally arriving at moraines below the col after three to four hours of strenuous walk. The high camp here forms a launching iste for both the South-West Ridge of Chulu Far East and as well for our climb from the east Ridge of Chulu East Peak.
Rest day for acclimatisation and for the preparation of the climb. Our climbing Sherpa will scout the area of the climb and will fix ropes where necessary. Day 17: Manang to Thorung Phedi. 4,400m. via Yak Kharka. 4,130m. 6 hrs The track gently winds up offering inspiring views of the Annapurna II, Gangapurna, Tiloche and the close up view of Chuli mid and west as the trail heads up in the barren windswept terrain’s with juniper bushes as the only surviving vegetation around this region, coming to a small settlements of Yak-Kharka. Walking on this gentle path which leads to a descend by the stream and again a steep climb at Thorang phedi meaning bottom of the Thorang-la. Day 18: Trek to Muktinath 3,800m.via Thorang-la 5,415m.Approx. 6-8 hrs. Starting very early in the morning before the break of dawn catching the magnificent views of the northern Annapurna, Damudhar, Bhirkuti and Dhaulagiri range of mountains. Walk continues on the narrow gradual track reaching at the height of 5,415 meter at Thorang-la, after a short break here continue on the steep and gradual trail to Muktinath the holiest of all holy places, during auspicious time according to Hindu & Buddhist calendar this place is full and busy with pilgrims from Nepal and India. Day 19: Muktinath to Marpha 2,670m. 6 hrs walks. Journey carries on with a 1,200m of descent to the Kaligandaki river valley floor, follow the gentle trail for another two hours till the large town of Jomsom is reached. Jomsom, a town and a headquarter of the Mustang region with a small airstrip just above the Kaligandaki River. From Jomsom a two hour brings us at Marpha. Here you will have time to celebrate with the local apple products like cider, brandy and juice this area from Kagbeni to Larjung is famous for its delicious apple and its product. Day 20: Marpha to Lete, 2,480m. 6hrs walk. O/N Camp. From Marpha, the walk is very enjoyable following the Kaligandaki river close beneath the Tukuche peak and Dhaulagiri, with spectacular views of Mt. Nilgiri’s and the massif icefalls which tumbles from the Dhaulagiri east face, from the bridge a short walk brings us to Kalapani village with grandeur view of Mt.Annapurna I, Nilgiri’s and Dhaulagiri. An hour descends takes us camp at Lete.
The route continues up the snow ridge ahead to the summit which is exposed at first but is climbed without much difficulty. On reaching the top great panoramic views of the surrounding snow capped mountains and the valley down below. After a memorable moment descend back to Base Camp for the overnight. These three days will make this trip more flexible allowing the climbers ample time for the preparation of the climb to Chulu.
From the Base Camp trek continues on with grand views of the high snow capped peaks, and descending steeply. The trek is more or less gradual on the wide path most of the way to Manang via the village of Braga. From here it is only an hour walk to Manang for the overnight stop.

The first two hours of trek passes through the village of Ghasa with constant view of the snow capped peaks in the beautiful cool forest surrounding. This pleasant walk amidst the beautiful surrounding continues back to the terraced paddy fields and into warm sub-tropical climate all the way to the village of Tatopani (Hot Spring) village
An hour crossing a suspension bridge over the Kaligandki river, route diverts from here taking the uphill climb, dotted with farms and villages, leaving behind the terraced fields walking in the dense rhododendron forests and reaching to the village of Ghorapani with excellent of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna ranges.
An hour hike to the top of Poon-Hill at 3,195m altitude for the beautiful sunrise over the superb panorama from Dhaulagiri-Annapurna to Mt.Manaslu range. From Ghorepani the trail follows through rhododendron forest with a steep descend to Tirkhedhunga village.
A gradual descend leads through creeks and streams, and number of villages till Nayapul is reached, from Nayapul a two hours drive to Pokhara.
From Pokhara takes half hour or less to Kathmandu, a panoramic view of the snow capped peaks can be seen from the plane.
