Ghorepani Tatopani Trek an enjoyable and scenic walks within lovely alpine woodland filled with rhododendron (national flower of Nepal), magnolia, oaks, pines and fir tree lines in the shadow of massive Annapurna and Dhaulagiri range of mountains.Our wonderful Poon hill Tatopani Trek starts from touristic city at Pokhara a beautiful place with warmer climate facing Annapurna-Manaslu range of peaks with magnificent Machhapuchare Himal ‘Fish Tail peak ‘ which reflects on its pristine Phewa and Begnas Lakes.

A short drive leads you to the starting point of the trek, where walk follows on the old Trans Himalayan Salt Trade and Caravan Route of Nepal and Tibet which ends at beyond Upper Mustang.On the walk wonderful views of surrounding landscapes and exploring nice mountain villages of Tikhedhunga-Ulleri and Bhanthati, as the walk leads to our destination at Ghorepani inhabited by Poon people of Magar ethnic tribes of mid hills.

Ghorepani poon hill trek offers grand views of Dhaulagiri-Tukuche-Nilgiris with Annapurna Himalaya located on the foot of scenic Poon Hill, where an hour walk leads to this beautiful spot at 3,210 m, the highest spot of the trek offering striking sunrise views over chain of peaks and rolling green hills.

If you don’t have enough time for exploring for the trekking in Nepal and want to see the best view of Himalaya range you can choose Ghorepani Tatopani Trek, in this trek  Poon Hill is marvelous panorama heading down to Ghorepani, where walk leads downhill into forest of rhododendron and pines trees towards Chitre-Sikha and Ghara villages and finally walk drops at Kaligandaki River into warmer sub-tropical climate reaching at Tatopani village.

However, walking poon hill will wonderful  and again refreshing in Tatopani with views of Nilgiri South then heading back to scenic Pokhara taking a drive through Beni and Baglung town to reach our ending point of the wonderful Annapurna view trek.
