Overview Gokyo Renjo Pass Trek

Gokyo Renjo pass Trek is no doubt one of the most impressive trekking routes in Everest region. Gokyo Lake is 4800m (15,748ft) and pass of Renjo-La is 5360m (17,585ft).

Gokyo Renjo pass Trek starts from the Lukla 2800m and follows the Dudh Koshi valley which Climbs up to the Sherpa Capital Namche Bazaar. The trail to Gokyo is a slow ascent up the valley passes through the Patches of birch and Rhododendron forest where the away from report Musk deer can occasionally be seen. Through small yak-grazing settlements, we reach Gokyo lakes. A delight trip to the Gokyo fourth and fifth lakes would be attraction in Gokyo valley.

The Ngozumpa Glacier is the largest Glacier in the Nepal Himalayas. The Gokyo-Ri 5,330m is considered as the best view point in the Everest Region trekking. These unbelievable scenery  for Gokyo valley trekking including superb views of Mt. Everest 8,848m, Mt. Makalu 8,463m, Mt. Lohtse 8,516m, Cho-Oyo 8,201m and many snowy peak mountain higher than six Thousand meters. Set between breath-taking high mountain surroundings.

However, The route leads through the Khumbu the motherland of Sherpa. The Renjo-La pass 5,360m trek crossing from Gokyo valley or Lumdeng. Renjo_la pass gives an alternative way to the Gokyo valley trek making a circuit. Renjo-La pass provides a lifetime memory of Panoramic views of the Everest and others Himalayan range. The Gokyo Renjo pass Trek is off the usual flattened track. At the passes, a great views of the Gokyo lakes on one side, the Rermo Pokhari lakes on the other side, and a numerous of snowy peaks are in the background, which provide as incredible atmosphere.

After nice view from the Renjo-La Top, the trail descends following Thame valley, Namche bazaar Than our Everest trek down by build our way back down to Lukla. After arriving in lukla you should say good bye for porters who helped for your challenging trek succeed. after the trek make them happy.

Outline Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive at Tribhuban International airport in Kathmandu
Day 02: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla 2800 m. and trek To Phakding 2,660m
Day 03: Trek to Namche bazaar 3,440m from Phakding.
Day 04: Acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar.
Day 05: Trek to Dole from Namche Bazaar 4,200m. 6/7 hours walking.
Day 06: Trek to Machhermo 4,470m.
Day 07: Trek from Machhermo to Gokyo 4800m 4/5 hours walking.
Day 08: Rest day in Gokyo.
Day 09: Trek from Gokyo to Renjo pass 5,360 m and walk down to Lungdeng 4600m 7/8 hours .
Day 10: Trek from Lungdeng to Thame 3800m.
Day 11: Trek to Namche bazaar 3,440m 4/5 hours walking
Day 12: Trek from Namche to Lukla.
Day 13: Fly back to Kathmandu
Day 14: Departure to International Airport to fly your onwards destination.
