Gokyo Lake Trek

Gokyo Lake Trek is a picturesque moderate adventure with a touch of high altitude. Where trek leads you above four thousand meters and five thousand three hundred sixty meters tall on top of Gokyo –RI. Gokyo Lake Trek offers a magnificent panorama of the world’s four highest Mountains. It includes Mount Everest, Mount Lhotse, Mount Cho-Oyu, and Mount Makalu. Towards the eastern Horizon include all adjoining peaks that circle the scenic high Himalayas.

Trek to Gokyo Lake is a great combination that includes all the best of the high Khumbu region of the Himalaya. The Everest area is rich in Sherpa culture and Buddhist religion, as well as the green alpine woodland of tall Rhododendron and Magnolia pines. As well as Oaks, Birch, and Fir trees, to small alpine bushes, as the tree lines drop on higher elevations. The backdrop of Mount Everest and other giant mountains.

Gokyo Lake Trek is great for walking into beautiful Sherpa Farm villages. You can visit Old monasteries enriched with ancient idols and treasure relics, offering amazing views of magnificent scenery along the walks. Starting with a short and exciting flight to Lukla from Kathmandu and then heading higher, following the glacial Dudh Kosi River. Furthermore, traditional farm villages lead to the famous and beautiful, colorful Namche Bazaar, with time for rest and a short hike. In Namche, there is the Sagarmatha museum, and your journey diverts toward the beautiful Gokyo lakes. The scenic valley leaves the main trail behind Everest Base Camp.

Everest Base Camp Trek

Gokyo Valley with the Everest base camp trek is a great walk reaching the leading highlight destinations, including the Khumbu region. It is the Gokyo Lake, Chola Pass, Everest Base Camp, Kala Patthar, and Namche Bazaar. Gokyo Ri is a superb hike to see the highest spot of the adventure with a fantastic panorama of the world’s top Himalayas in the Gokyo trek.

Itinerary

From Tribhuban International Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon, if time permits, you will be invited to our office for a briefing about the daily program. Today, you will receive your Sagarmatha National Park Permits and TIMS
Enjoy the most scenic 30-minute flight to Lukla from Kathmandu. As you reach Lukla, start the Everest View Trek to Pading via Chaurikharka and Chilung. Overnight at Phakding (2,640m).
Early in the morning, after having breakfast, trek to the Sherpa capital of Namche Bazaar (3435m) via Jorasalle. From her, the trail slightly goes uphill to the Sherpa capital, Namche, and you can get the first glance of Everest.
Today, we may rest or hike through the villages of Khunde and Khumjung. Khumjung is the largest village of the Khumbu region. After having lunch, we will hike back to Namche Bazaar.
The trek starts after breakfast in Namche and trails follow colorful prayer flags, with several shortened Mani stones from Namche Gompa. Thame is a small monastery village, situated at an altitude of 3825m and the birthplace of Tenzi Norgay Sherpa, the first man to reach the Everest summit with Edmund Hillary.
After morning breakfast, the trail leads you to Lungden village. The village of Lungden is the only settlement before crossing the Renjola pass. Continue your journey up to Lungden village, the trail with Tibetan Yak caravans, because it is a trading route to Namche to Tibet. Overnight at Lung den.
After having a strong breakfast in Lung den. The trail slightly leads to Renjola pass, and Renjola pass is one of the easiest passes in the Khumbu Himalaya compared to other passes, Chola and Congmala. The whole trail is zigzag with sandy ridges and arrives in Gokyo lakes overnight at the guesthouse.
You can trek to Gokyo Peak, which starts early in the morning. The summit offers the extravagant vista of Cho You, Everest, Lhotse, and Makalu. While climbing down, you can enjoy the view of Gokyo Lake. Overnight at the teahouse.
After morning breakfast in Gokyo lakes, the trail leads back to your Sherpa village of Dole via the Village of Pangla, Machhermo, Luza, and Lhabarma. Overnight at Lodge.
Morning breakfast in Dole, say goodbye to Gokyo valley, and the rail directly drops to Khumjung village to Namche via the Sherpa settlement village of Sanasa.
The trail steeply goes down through Rhododendron and Pine forest to Jorasalle. It will take about two hours and another 5-hour walk to Lukla via Monju, banker, Phakding, Ghats Khola, Chaurikharka, Chheplung, and arrival in Lukla and overnight at the Guest house.
Early morning joyful flight from Lukla to Kathmandu and transfer to your Hotel. During the day, you will have rest after a long journey in the Khumbu Himalaya, and in the Evening, a farewell dinner with the Nepali Family.
Today is the last day of Nepal for this time, and we will drop you off at the international airport for your onward destination or back home. We are hoping that you had a really good time in Nepal. We hope you will come back again for adventurous activities.
